Daunting Touch

To reach out, and touch, is daunting

Yet there her hand; rests a taunting

Tempting with an innocent dare

Silent desires, I can no longer bear

With no clue, that she’s even flaunting

All that I am truly wanting

With no hint, she’s even aware

I can’t refuse a chance so rare

Take all of, the unspoken longing

Let bold actions, do the talking

Clasp her hand, show that you care

Let her feel, a love you can share
