Valentines Micro Poetry #4 -Are you free?

By any chance are you free Sunday night?

I’ve been planning an evening thats full of delights

I can’t think of anyone that deserves romance more

Than the girl of my dreams who make my heart soar

I wrote the preceding poem back in 2016 as one of many pieces of micro poetry to celebrate Valentine’s Day (Just for clarity, Valentines was on a Sunday in 2016, I didn’t just pick a random day).

 

This piece in particular spawned several alternate endings.  The official ending was chosen to keep with the romantic theme.  The alternates were written with more of a sexually humorous skew.

 

I wanted to put a spotlight on this piece and ask you lovely readers which ending you prefer.  I’m not planning on changing the official version so I will be keeping the original romantic ending simple because I think its a sweet poem.  I’d really like to know however which of the alternates, if any, is the best.

 

I really hope you like them, I personally think they’re rather funny, but I’m a tad biased.  So please leave a comment below, even if it’s just to vote for the original.

2. And I promise to never treat you, like a dirty filthy whore

 

3. And if you’re really lucky, you might even score

 

4. And once the nights over, don’t be surprised if you’re soar

 

5. Not like my last girl… oh what a boar

 

6. Like an intimate picnic, held on my bedroom floor
