Happy Birthday Sister

[It’s the 31st of July.  My little sisters birthday.  I wrote this little poem while I was at work and she was off sunning her self on holiday.  I thought I’d share it here as well, so I always have a copy.  I hope you lovely readers enjoy…]

 

Happy Birthday to you sister of mine

I hope you’re enjoying all the summer sunshine

It must be nice to fly off for a beach holiday

While the rest of us work, jealous you’re away

 

There’ll be presents aplenty waiting on your return

Far more than a menace like you actually deserves

The same can’t be said when it comes to your cake

Leaving it uneaten till you get back would be a mistake

 

So enjoy your special day and I hope you have lots of fun

But remember to put use protection whilst tanning in the sun
