I recently had the great privilege to get involved with a project raising awareness of what certain sectors of employment are like. I thought it was a fantastic idea and a great guide of students to get a glimpse into what its like to actually work the jobs they’re studying to go into.
The project was masterminded by the rather talent Beth over at adventuringwithlove as a wonderfully defiant protest about how some industries are not seen as ‘real jobs’. Its a sentiment that gets me quite riled up if I’m honest. If you get paid to do something it’s a job, end of! Sadly its not the general consensus.
Beth has a fantastic lifestyle blog and is always starting really engaging conversations. She’s a guiding light of helpful advice that’s perfect for a student audience but poses such deep and well thought ideas its clear to see how her blog can captivate a bitter jaded old man like me.
