Working tomorrow, I’ve seen this before
What could it hurt, to play just one more?
When a message appears asking if I’m still watching
does saying “yes” mean, I’m a victim of brainwashing?

No, it’s because Netflix is amazing

Fair enough! It is pretty great. I guess I shouldn’t question that which sustains me. Haha!!

Don’t ask, just watch…that should be their slogan

Agreed! Although im sure they just assume its implied. They really should alter it up. I’d love it if I saw a message that said “come on, it’s not like you were going to do anything else” or food recommendations… “did you know this show is better with pizza?”. I should totally email Netflix my ideas.

I’ve got the Aussie version. I am sad. I think I may have watched all my netflix 😦 They don’t seem to add stuff fast enough here.

That’s terrible!! The UK one isn’t bad although I still keep watching the same shows. My only real complaint is the animated shows don’t get updated a lot or are missing seasons. I love a nice 20mins show as background noise.

IT IS! But, I have found solace DLing old 70’s, 80’s grindhouse flix. Oh my, they don’t make em like they used to!

They really don’t, there’s something about the gritty feel of the past that you can’t quite get right. The way things are going im sure streaming services will grab up old titles before someone else starts ‘NostalgiaFlix’.

RIGHT? Just finished The Devils with Oliver Reed. OMG what a disturbingly awesome movie! Recommend, if you like religious themed horror. 1971

I’m funny with horror, this sounds totally wonderfully messed up. Just been reading up on it, worth a look for the utter madness.

Yes, it was. I wouldn’t really call it horror, but disturbing nonetheless. A commentary about the “Why” we need a separation of church and state!

I suppose horror is just the closest genre to classify, frantically disturbing and intertionally messed up is a bit big. Still that’s as you said before this time in filmmaking is like no other. The boundaries were pushed to breaking point and beyond, it was a far more trusting time for crazy ideas. It does seem around this time that challenging religion was a popular theme.

Great title, “Binge”. I like the entire thought process here. Self control versus what sustains us. An interesting dilemma. Love the idea of questioning what sustains us, it throws us deeper into perplexities of what is. Wonderful post! Please enjoy the rest of your week. ~ Mia

Thank you so much! It’s something I ponder often as I should be trying to sleep. I went back and forth on the title I glad you thought it worked, I wasn’t sure if it was too curt. I’ll certainly try to make the most of mine, I hope you have a great rest of your week!!

You’re most welcome. The mind works in mysterious ways, that’s for sure and at the most inopportune times, like when you should be sleeping. The title is terrific. I didn’t read it as curt at all, although I think sometimes curt can be wonderfully effective. I happen to adore one word titles. Thank you for the well wishes. Enjoy! ~ Mia
